UKM Engineering Technology Carnival 2012 (EngTEC’12)
EngTEC’12 is a periodic event held once every two years since 2002 in Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, UKM. This year, the event had been rebranded from the previous one to encourage the idea of innovation and creation among students.
It is aimed to expose students to the diverse range of careers under the field of engineering during the course of this carnival. EngTEC’12 involves three main events which are competition, job fair and exhibition as well as the side events. The details of the event are as follows:

| Involvement | : 1) Competition (14th – 15thMay)All engineering students of UKM, engineering students from other IPTA and IPTS from all over Malaysia and secondary school students from Selangor.
2) Job Fair (16th May) All students from IPTA and IPTS from all over Malaysia, fresh graduates and visitors. 3) Side events and Exhibition (14th – 15th May) All participants and visitors. |

This event is believed to inspire future engineers on their role and responsibilities in driving the nation forward. This is very important as young generation of today will take over the nation’s leadership and become an inventor or creator of the latest technology in the future.
